School Driver

We are looking for careful, dependable drivers who put student safety, punctuality and courteous conduct first.

ROLE PURPOSE

Work with purpose.

Transport students safely, reliably and courteously, following school procedures throughout each journey.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

What the role will shape

  • Safe driving: follow road rules, approved routes, speed limits and safe stopping practices.
  • Vehicle readiness: complete daily checks and report maintenance needs before operating an unsafe vehicle.
  • Punctuality: maintain dependable pickup and drop schedules without compromising safety.
  • Authorised handover: coordinate with attendants so children are released through the approved process.
  • Transport records: maintain trip, mileage, fuel, inspection and incident records.
  • Emergency response: follow breakdown, accident and emergency communication procedures.
  • Professional conduct: treat children and families respectfully and never use a phone while driving.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Experience & qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience driving a school bus.
