ROLE PURPOSE

Work with purpose.

Lead teachers, teaching quality, curriculum execution, educational content and daily academic operations. This role helps translate the school’s learning vision into dependable classroom practice.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

What the role will shape

• Teacher management: allocate responsibilities, monitor attendance and preparedness, hold regular meetings and follow up on performance concerns.
• Academic planning: prepare the academic calendar, timetables, teaching schedules, substitution arrangements and assessment plans.
• Teaching quality: observe classes, review lesson plans, give practical feedback and organise teacher development.
• Curriculum and content: review worksheets, assessments, learning resources, report cards and classroom content for accuracy and age appropriateness.
• Student progress: track learning outcomes, identify gaps and coordinate support with teachers and families.
• Daily coordination: help classes, assemblies, activities and transitions run smoothly.
• School culture: support consistent expectations for respectful behaviour, classroom routines and professional conduct.
• Management reporting: prepare a regular overview of academic progress, teacher support, operational concerns and decisions requiring founder input.
