ROLE PURPOSE

Work with purpose.

Build confidence, expression, rhythm and coordination through dance and creative movement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

What the role will shape

  • Lesson planning: deliver age-appropriate dance and creative movement sessions.
  • Skill development: build rhythm, posture, coordination, expression and group participation.
  • Inclusive participation: involve beginners and less-confident children, not only experienced performers.
  • Performances: prepare students for assemblies and events within agreed rehearsal schedules.
  • Safety: use suitable warm-ups, movements, music and physical expectations.
  • Progress records: track participation and care for costumes or props assigned to the role.
